It's Canada Post Mail Forwarding. Cryptic - yes, scam - no.

SusanF on April 17, 2016

Appears to be fraudulent even if it is Canadian Post. I never lived in Canada nor had mail forwarding service there or anywhere else. They began charging varying amounts on my card - 9 charges within 12 days before I caught it and had them reversed. The charges appear to be getting a bit larger along the way. I was charged well over $300 total before I caught it.

Scott Kimler on April 22, 2016

Mail hold charge by Canada Post Corp I ordered online. Personally, I think this is a service they should provide for free, but clearly, this post indicates they could do a better job identifying the charge in the "description" portion of credit card bills.

Scott on April 26, 2016

Got charged $63 dollars and live in Australia. Lol. Nice try.

Jackie on April 29, 2016

It is by Canada Post for mail forwarding service. I hope they can re-name it to something better than "CPC SCP eCOAACA"

CPC SCP eCOAACA OTTAWA ON; K1A 0B1 (is their postal code that gives their physical address) This Is the Canadian Postal Service, If you have made a purchase online with them this is what appears on your CC Statement. Even people whom have changed their address and are currently forwarding your mail. There are options for this charge to continue charging your CC unless you call and cancel your service.

vampipo on June 05, 2016

Lynn B on June 29, 2016

Charge for opening a PO box, or something else you may have ordered online. Such as stamps, coins, or packing supplies.

Paula M on July 08, 2016

I had 15 consecutive charges in one day ranging from $15 to $20. Closed account and they came back with 4 more. I don't live in Canada, don't have an address in Canada have had no reason to contact them. CC company working on it, but the total is over $200 now.

Ruddy on July 10, 2016

All the comments above seem to imply that it is an online transaction with CPC/SCP (Canada Post Corporation / Société Canadienne des Postes). Actually, any charge made by CPC/SCP on your credit or charge card may be labelled "CPC/SCP". In my case, I sent a parcel to France from a postal outlet in Quebec City, which I paid with my credirt card, and then the corresponding charge on my card statement reads simply: "CPC/SCP #0104037 QUEBEC QC" The sequel like "ecoaaca ottawa" or "ECOA/ACA" does not appear.

GeorgesM on July 19, 2016

Definitely Canada Post. I was charged on my credit for forwarding my mail to a new address.

Donna on July 25, 2016

I marked this as suspicious and was about to call visa. I read another coment further down and realize it is likely a return package I sent. So sorry it is legit. Why can't they just say Canada Post?

Gord on August 16, 2016

Mail services with Canada Post, such as mail hold or mail redirection.

Renée on August 18, 2016

So glad I Googled "cpc scp" and found this. What a great age to live in and why does Canada Post have to be so cryptic ???

Andrew on August 29, 2016

Mail forwarding charge... yep...

Ron on August 30, 2016

Total scam! Never had any dealing with Canada Post and it showed up. We know CPC is Canada Post but where is this money going?

Mike Poulin on October 28, 2016

Just checked and it is Canada Post Corporation or Societe Canadienne des Poste If you have made a transaction with your postal service like change of address this is what it will show up on your transaction slip.

Richard le 24 septembre 2016 on October 30, 2016

C'est quoi cette charge? CPC SCP CJ451377295US de 27.71$

LNK on November 10, 2016

Fraud charge for me. Don't live in Canada, have never been to Canada and definitely don't have an address there. I also checked my recent online orders from other merchants and none of my shipments originated from Canada. Already filed a claim with my bank.
