by Sam on Sep.02, 2010, under ALL, MMA

The Massachusets State Athletic Commission released the salary information of UFC 118 on Thursday. В  The event took place at the TD Garden in Boston on August 28, 2009 in Boston.

Promoters are required by law to submit salary information and winner’s bonuses to the state athletic commissions. В Any undisclosed bonuses that the promoter pays the fighters, such as pay-per-view bonuses are not included in the figures. В This probably only goes to the main-card fighters if given at all.

I read somewhere that James Tony got like 500 k for this fight at UFC 118. Thats a huge amount of money for one fight and not even a title fight. Hopefully he brought with him alot of fans from Boxing. Demian Maia did a impressive performance.
